SAFETY FIRST SIGNS are used to indicate general instructions relative to work safety practices and reminders of proper safety procedures.
SAFETY FIRST SIGNS should not be associated with a hazardous situation and MUST NOT be used in place of DANGER, WARNING or CAUTION signs.
All employees shall be instructed that safety first signs indicate general reminders of a safe work place.
The sign should contain sufficient information to be easily understood. OSHA 1910.145(e)(2).
