WARNING SIGNS are used where a situation indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY. Should not be considered for property damage accidents unless personal injury risk is present.
All employees shall be instructed that WARNING SIGNS indicate a potential hazard for which proper precautions should be taken.
The sign should contain sufficient information to be easily understood. OSHA 1910.145(e)(2).
